We are surrounded by ancient woodland so you will see spiders, field mice, deer, badgers, muntjac, flying insects, bats, birds of prey and many more native wildlife.

Please do not have any loud parties after 11.30 pm and be respectful of your neighbours.

Infants are included in the total party size.

Hot tubs are not allowed to be used on the day of departure.

The lead party member is responsible for making sure all members of their party adhere to the rules and guidelines, use the hot tub at their own risk and take sole responsibility.

Due to the time, it takes our maintenance team to drain and refill the hot tubs after each departure we will do our very best to have your tub temperature ready for you to enjoy upon arrival, however, this cannot be guaranteed.

Please do not use the hot tub on the day of checkout due to our maintenance team needing to drain, clean and refill it.

Please take care regarding entering and exiting the tub due to slippery surfaces, the decking area can be slippery when icy or wet.

Do not swallow hot tub water as it does contain chemicals.

Please ensure to remove your jewellery before entering the tub to prevent tarnishing.

Shower before and after use.

Please respect other guests’ privacy and keep noise to a minimum.

Our maintenance technicians will visit your tub twice daily to monitor the quality of the water, and ensure all is working correctly.

  • Do not use after eating a big meal, allow 1-2 hours before use.
  • It is recommended that a salty snack is consumed after use to replace the salt levels lost through sweat.
  • Rest before exerting any energy after use to ensure that your body’s fluid balance is back to normal.
  • Do not put excess water onto the stones – if too much water is thrown onto the stones, only part of the water will evaporate, and any excess water may splash as boiling water onto other bathers.
  • Do not hang clothes in the sauna to dry as this may cause a fire.
  • Never sleep in the sauna.

Please inform the Team immediately if the sauna appears faulty or in an otherwise unsuitable condition.

Yes, each lodge has designated parking space. 

All 1 bed lodges have 1 space.

All 2-bed standard have 1 space.

All 2-bed premier and VIP have two spaces where possible.

All 3-bed standards have one space and some spares nearby.

Yes, please download the podPOINT app so that you are able to use the charger. The unit name is Lars-Dean (64421).

The lodges are located a mile from reception.

Yes, our maintenance team will be happy to assist you should you need anything. 

Just press the out of hours on the phone in your lodge and they will be happy to assist with any questions big or small.

Check-in starts from 4 pm and this is contactless reception will email you your details on the day of arrival once your lodge is ready.

All damaged deposits must be processed at least the day before arrival and no sooner than 2 weeks.

All guests must check out by 10 am. 

We do not offer late check-out.

Yes, subject to availably you can hire out travel cots and high chairs.

Pets

We will ONLY accept dogs for our pet-friendly lodges we will accept up to 2 medium-sized dogs. (No large dogs).

Pets are not permitted in non-pet-friendly lodges and if you do bring any other pet to the park you will be asked to leave and charged for a deep clean.

Your dog/s should never be left in the lodge unattended

Laundry

All 2-4 bed lodges have been kitted with a washer dryer.

Yes, all lodges have a bath towel provided for the total number of guests per lodge.

Yes your beds will be made up before you arrive, if you would like a bed split please let us know prior to arrival.

Technology

All our lodges have a Samsung Smart TV in the lounge.

The TV’s come with a wide range of terrestrial Freeview channels as standard.  For you convenience and digital safety, all lounge TV’s also can be cast to from a smart phone or tablet allowing you to watch any subscription service you have, without worrying about finding passwords when you arrive or forgetting to log out when you leave.  Just make sure your streaming app is on your device and logged in before you leave home and then follow the instructions on screen to cast to the TV.

Premier customers will also be able to cast to the master bedroom TV.

VIP customers will also be able to cast to all TV’s in the lounge and bedroom.

All our Premier and VIP lodges have a smart TV in the bedrooms.

The master bedroom in a standard lodge will have a smart TV.

Mobile coverage is dependent on your network provider, however all lodges and have their own Wi-Fi (FOC) and we also have wi-fi spots around the park where the lodges are situated.

All premier and VIP lodges have blue tooth speakers inside the lodge.

Hot Tubs

41 of our lodges have hot tubs and these are available through our Premier and VIP range and The Cottage has a hot tub.

The maintenance team will come out twice a day and check the PH levels.

The VIP lodges all come with complimentary robes.

  • Do not use in high winds.
  • Do not use before 8am or after 11pm.
  • Do not use on the day of departure.
  • Shower before and after use.
  • Consult with GP if you have a medical conditions before use.
  • Do not use if pregnant.
  • Do not use if under 5 years of age.
  • Children under 16 must be supervised by adult whilst in the hot tub and limit sessions to 7 minutes or less.
  • It is recommended that continuous time in the hot tub is limited to 15 minutes before a break to cool down.
  • Ensure safety regarding entering and exiting due to slippery surfaces.
  • Avoid putting your face or head beneath the water.
  • Avoid swallowing hot tub water.
  • Keep long hair tied up/use swim hat or hair net.
  • It is recommended contact lenses are removed before use.
  • It is recommended that the hot tub is not used after a heavy meal or alcohol.
  • Do not run in or around the hot tub.
  • Do not jump in or dive in.
  • Do not use any form of bubble bath or oils.
  • No food or drink in the hot tub.
  • No glass containers
  • No smoking including e-cigs.
  • Do not use electrical equipment in the hot tub.
  • No pets in the hot tub.

BBQ

All our lodges are fitted with a BBQ hook and cook that will hold a disposable BBQ, that can be purchased from The Command Post (Bistro on site)

Smoking

No, we are a non-smoking site, which includes E-cigarettes.

We have a shop that is run independently (Oak Lake Store) an is located within The Command Post next to the overflow car park.

Touring / Camping

Drones

Out of respect for all of our guests, drones are not permitted on the holiday park and we are on the flight path for RAF Wittering.

Activities

Yes we have created some private walks and there are also some public walkways. When you come to the gate please use code C201 to open the combination lock.

The only thing on site is The Command Post (Bistro) which serves food and drink and local groceries.

We don’t sell attraction tickets.

Heacham South Beach approx. 72 miles and 1hr 42 minutes car journey.

We don’t run any ourselves, however you may book directly with those that are willing to come to the park.

We have two double bedrooms upstairs and a star-gazing conservatory bedroom downstairs.

The team will come out twice a day the morning will be, between 8 am and 8.30 am and the afternoon will be 1.30 pm and 2.00 pm. 

Please ensure you are out of the hot tub during these times and all dogs are inside.

You will be initially supplied with the first set of logs and kindling, any additional wood and kindling may be purchased from the Bistro (The Command Post)

As per the rest of the park, we only accept small or medium-sized dogs and you may bring up to 3 medium-sized dogs for the cottage only.
